Holocaust Memorial Day

27th January is Holocaust Memorial Day.  Thousands of people across Britain will come together today to remember and honour the millions killed in the Holocaust and mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Basketball Training Reminder tomorrow with special guest Dru Spinks

Havering College Basketball team resumes training on 28th January 2015 (tomorrow) with a special guest - sporting champion and ex England International Dru Spinks who will be delivering a Sporting Champions training session 5pm-7pm

Both male and female students welcome to attend

Zumba starts tomorrow night - still time to join

 The new Zumba session starts tomorrow at AG on a Tuesday evening from 17.15-18.15 in the Common Room area (shutters down)

 If you would like to attend then we are providing you with the option to bring a Friend/Daughter/Sister/Mum etc.

 The cost for each person will be £18 for a six week block (paid in advance, works out £3 a session), or £5 per individual session.  Our instructor is Kerrie Odwyer

HE Students - Financial Assistance

Higher Education students  - Did you know there are funds available from the HE Hardship Fund to help if you are in financial hardship?

To qualify, you should be in receipt or have applied for your full entitlement of Student Loan and Grants, and have a household income of £21,000 or less.
